Hace ya tres años de haber lanzado Hummingbird y de estar en una serie de gira mundial. Este año, Local Natives regresa con su tercer disco de estudio y que llevará el nombre de Sunlit Youth. Éste estará disponible bajo los sellos de Loma Vista Recordings e Infectious Music apartir del 9 de Septiembre.

Ya hay sencillos anteriormente lanzados: «Past Lives» y «Villainy», mismos que especularon sobre un nuevo disco, donde hoy la banda confirmó esas especulaciones y además presentaron portada y tracklist.

Así mismo la agrupación anuncia gira donde además de participar en festivales también tienen fechas donde ellos son el acto principal. Todo empezará el 10 de julio en Louisville, Kentucky.
